Young & Shand approached Branders.NZ
A custom size printed Tissue Box, a not so normal challenge for our team. Branders.NZ was contracted by Haden from Young & Shand with a difficult task to be produced.
A Tissue Box no one is Manufacturing
Haden found that the commercial printers could only produce a sleeve for existing boxes. Haden then came to us with this set back. “The Lukemia and Blood Cancer Foundation wanted something different and unique for the “Shave for a Cure” campaign which is why Branders.NZ was contacted “.
So Many Tissue Boxes!
We found a standard Tissue box shape and used this for our template. When then dismantled the box and began to create a computer dieline for our new box. This was supplied to Young & Shand and they came up with the artwork for the campaign. Before we new it we had a Pre production sample. This was sent over to Haden and the team. The sample was quickly approved.
I contacted our local supplier and they were able to help us with the tissues required. We then printed 500 boxes on SRA3 350gsm Matt board and had them formed to shape on our clam shell press which was then folded and glued by our staff.
Tissues were removed from the standard boxes and placed in Young & Shands brand new artwork sporting the “Shave for a Cure” campaign.
Mission Accomplished
The job was then packed to Young & Shand requirements and sent to the Auckland address provided. Overall we found we produced an excellent new product to add to our range and pulled the job off in the time frame given by the client. Here is what Haden had to say: “Branders.NZ were extremely professional and had the knowledge they required when facing a tricky brief.”
